Dylan & Dustin

Reflections of Olde Antique Mall - Lafayette, LA

There’s a quiet but unmistakable strength that comes from loving and being loved. You can see it in others when you find it in yourself. There is an undeniable and beautiful vulnerability in Dylan and Dustin’s growing relationship. You can see it in their facial expressions toward each other. You can feel the warmth in their hugs. I’ve photographed Dylan twice now but it was different this time. She was softer and sweeter. They were cool and relaxed with each other, walking through the Antique Mall talking about their future home decor and easing each others nerves when I asked them to stop and pose. With my passion for antiquing, I’m surprised the idea of taking photos here had not already presented itself or had been my own, for that matter. After all, I found my own engagement ring here.

I’m looking forward to seeing where time and growth takes Dylan and Dustin. Thank you for letting me document a moment in time of your relationship. <3
